The second consortium meeting of the Crosspaths project recently concluded at Wageningen University & Research (WUR) from November 11-13, marking a significant step in fostering collaboration among all partners.

The meeting enabled participants from the Institute of Animal Reproduction and Food Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Estonian University of Life Sciences, and Universidade Católica Portuguesa to assess the project's progress and set plans for future activities. Sessions included staff training on research support services and discussions on pre- and post-award support, entrepreneurship, and intellectual property management.

This engagement highlighted the commitment of all partners to enhance management and research skills to increase the success of European R&I project applications and utilize regionally funded research investments more effectively. The Crosspaths project, running until April 2026, aims to upgrade capabilities across the consortium and promote joint projects that support innovation in the European food system.

Upcoming Crosspaths events will take place across Portugal, Poland, Estonia, and the Netherlands, with a focus on research initiatives and staff training sessions. Under the guidance of WUR and the support of Innotrope (France) in communication and dissemination, the project aims to foster knowledge exchange and collaboration across Europe.
